DIE STANDIN' UP

Die Standin' Up is a cinematic vertical drama set against the horse farms, oil fields, and rural landscapes of Kentucky - a world where family, land, loyalty, money, and old grudges collide.

 

At the center of the story is Ellie Burke, a fiercely independent young horsewoman fighting to hold onto the life her family built. Around her are Tommy, a young cowboy struggling to decide what kind of man he wants to become, and Brad, a troubled recently discharged Marine whose arrival brings loyalty, volatility, and secrets of his own.

 

Beyond the Burke family lies another threat. Powerful interests have their eyes on the land, and the deeper our characters dig into what is happening around them, the more they discover that the fight for their future may be bigger- and more dangerous than any of them imagined. Old loyalties begin to fracture. Relationships become dangerous. Secrets start surfacing.

 

And what begins as a story about young people trying to determine their futures gradually becomes a fight over family, land, power and survival.
